Eating all-local in June is a breeze. This week we had a few local meals, but this one was the yummiest:

- Grilled chicken legs, marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, and thyme (I have decided that “spices” can be expanded to include seasonings of various kinds – hey, I never said I was a purist!)
- Grilled cauliflower, scallions, and snap peas, marinated in olive oil and balsamic vinegar (see above)
- New potatoes, boiled and then browned in butter
The chicken came from Misty Knoll Farm in New Haven, VT, the cauliflower and potatoes from Biz-z-Bee Farm in Lunenberg, the peas from Too Little Farm in Barnet, and the scallions from Old Shaw Farm in Peacham.
We also made all-local ice cream, with cream from Butterworks Farm in Westfield, milk from Tamarlane Farm in Lyndon, strawberries from Biz-z-Bee Farm in Lunenberg, and local honey.

The ice cream looks yummy!
It really *is* easy to have so many delicious local options this time of year. The grilled veg… yes please!
Okay I gained 5 lbs just looking at this! Yummy, yummy, yummy.
